Feedbooks is pretty cool! You can build your own newspapers with multiple RSS feeds and it\'s pretty easy to download them right from the Kindle. I have been using it since they rolled it out a couple of weeks ago and the only minor downside is that you have to manually delete the old file on your Kindle.
Happy that I could help!
I found out about this at Kindlecorner and loved the 1st session. It is interesting to hear a more sophisticated user. My biggest want for 2.0 is folders.
Love, love, love, my Kindle

thanks for the feedbooks link.
that\'s not quite what i\'m looking for but it\'s closer.
with feedbooks, you have to manually
- fetch the RSS feed
- download
- send to your kindle
I would need to do this every time (daily?) I wanted the updated content.
That\'s too much work for just one RSS feed, not to mention the five I\'d love to have.
Perhaps I could write a program that did this for me everyday, but I don\'t have that time or those skills.
Anyone know of something more automated?
oops. i misspoke
there IS an easier update method. It\'s not fully automated, but it will work from the Kindle itself. Spoke too soon.

I WAS COMPLETELY WRONG. FEEDBOOKS IS INCREDIBLE.
i do have to manually ping the feed, but this all happens from the device!
I may use a feed aggregator to get my fave blogs into a single feed and just create a few.

holy canoli. i\'m free!
Great show! I\'ve been wondering when a Kindle podcast would pop up and I\'m so glad to finally find one. Great interview with Baratunde - it\'s wonderful to hear from other people who love their Kindles as much as I love mine!
Congratulations, Len, on the great new show! I\'m amazed that no one has thought of this before, and it seems to me that you\'ve thoroughly laid claim to the niche. Baratunde was a fantastic choice as an initial interview, and the format including news and tips seems like a natural. As usual, I\'ll probably wait for hardware version 2.0 (especially now that I have eReader on my iPhone), but you have a way of insidiously infecting me with your techno-enthusiasms, and I can already feel the draw!
hey - great idea. i just wrote about it on my (interestingly enough) social network for amazon kindle owners at booksummit.com.
you can come on over and join and blog/write about it in the forums - we\'re in alpha - however we do have 224 members already (mostly kindle owners).
Very good show!
Baratunde had asked about access to additional blogs on the Kindle. Please note that Feedbooks.com has a new RSS reader download that allows you to download full RSS feeds to your Kindle for free. Click on the \"News\" icon in the upper right hand corner of the site.
Incredible podcast. Before, I only marginally wanted a Kindle. I\'d spend minutes of free time perusing mediocre reviews of the device in hopes of gleaning another detail that might convince me I didn\'t need one, that my computer, iPod Touch, and access to actual real-life books were enough. Now, my arteries, ventricles, every vein and capillary in my body throbs with a desire for e-ink. I just finished doing thirty push-ups to keep myself from using my arms to mouse-click my way into needless debt. Thanks a lot. Also: Abe Lincoln sounds like my dad.
SCG - thanks VERY much for your comment, which gives me encouragement to press ahead on this new venture!
FIGHT CONSUMERISM WITH PUSHUPS!
i love it
